Colby Owen, the founder of North Island Estate Liquidation, is a lifelong resident of Comox Valley. With a diverse skill set, he is not only an Accredited Appraiser (CPPAG) and experienced antique dealer, but also a red seal electrician and restoration specialist. His attention to detail and honesty have earned him a reputable standing in the community.

Colby's passion for vintage items extends beyond his professional pursuits. As an antique and collectibles dealer, he enjoys sourcing unique pieces and discovering their stories. He takes pleasure in researching the history and value of each item, ensuring that his clients receive accurate information and fair assessments.

Through his work with Elder Moving, Colby is renowned for his empathetic and compassionate approach. With a keen understanding of emotionally challenging times, Colby is committed to providing a service that is sensitive, respectful and considerate of individual circumstances.

In addition to his love for antiques, Colby also has a passion for local history and ephemera. Kayla Scheele, the visionary founder of Elder Moving & co-founder of North Island Estate Liquidation, is motivated by a dedication to honesty and integrity.  With more than a decade of experience supporting seniors, Kayla offers compassionate solutions to individuals facing the complexities of estate management.

From an early age, Kayla embraced her adventurous spirit, exploring the world through extensive travel experiences and assuming various roles, such as contributing to the design of Michael Bublé's wedding and training as a Holistic Doula. With a background in Exhibit Design and an innate talent for crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces, Kayla effortlessly combines her passion for design with her unwavering commitment to assisting those in the process of moving and estate liquidation.

Kayla's firsthand understanding of the challenges associated with estate management enables her to create stress-free and seamless experiences for her clients. Going above and beyond, she handles every aspect of estate liquidation with exceptional care and meticulous attention to detail. 

Originally from Alberta, Kayla has spent the past eight years immersing herself in the vibrant beauty of Vancouver Island, forging meaningful connections and establishing herself as a trusted advocate in the industry.

Roger Langill, a native of Powell River, developed a passion for working on cars at an early age. Growing up in a family shop, he honed his skills by restoring vintage vehicles and working on small engines, under the guidance of his father, who instilled in him a strong work ethic and valuable mechanical knowledge. As "Our M.r Fix-It," Roger has an exceptional ability to repair and restore

items that others might discard, making him an invaluable member of our team.

Roger's appreciation for antiques and hot rods began in his youth, when his family would travel south each winter. During these trips, they explored historic towns, visited antique shops, thrift stores, and bookstores, sparking his lifelong interest in vintage items. This passion has grown into a deep expertise in antiques and collectibles, with Roger possessing a keen eye for identifying

valuable pieces. His extensive knowledge is particularly helpful in pricing items accurately, ensuring their true worth is recognized.

When not at work, Roger enjoys spending his days of exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island with his wife, two children, and their dog. He also spends time in his workshop, surrounded by his impressive collection, which includes a 1936 Ford Sedan, antique signs, die-cast cars, oil cans, bottles, and more.
